Soul do Mato (sole-doe-mah-toh) - portuguese phrase meaning 'from the woods' or 'of nature.'

The band began by performing impromptu jam sessions to entertain our circle of friends, and naturally began to come together as we saw our 'circle' growing through YouTube. Honest music, like any honest art, is an extension of the soul. So by connecting with our music, you connect with us. We consider all our members friends we've yet had the pleasure to meet. Thanks to all of you who support and encourage us.

This site is a response to an unthinkable development. Some of you expressed interest in trading your hard-earned money for our music; money you could use for gas or...chocolate. In appreciation, we devised a system that provided as much music for as little cost as possible.
